I will now introduce you to the Nicolaus Copernicus National Astronomical Observatory and Planetarium, better known as the Planetarium. This is one of the landmarks in Varna. This is an astronomical observatory, equipped with a star room, a tower with a Foucault pendulum and more. The Varna Astronomical Observatory is located in the Sea Garden near the main entrance of the park. Since its construction in 1968, the building has not changed its purpose as a scientific and educational institution dedicated to the observation and study of celestial bodies in the universe.
